Kickstart 101 is a free university preparation programme offered to Pacific students before the beginning of their first year of study. The six-week Summer School paper helps Pacific students prepare for life at the University of Otago.

Who is this available to

Pacific students entering their first year of study, or Pacific students who have shown an interest or have already applied to study at the University.

How do I apply for Kickstart 101

To apply for Kickstart 101:

  1. Go to the Kickstart website.
  2. Click the Apply now button.
  3. Fill in your details and click Submit.

Note that the application process is separate for both Pacific and Māori cohorts. Tauira Māori apply through the Kia Ita programme and Pacific students through KickStart.
