If your Special Consideration application is approved, one of the outcomes you may be offered is a special examination. For the dates that centrally managed exams will be run, visit the Examinations website:

Special Consideration in Final Exams — Dates for centrally managed special exams

The special exam timetable will be emailed to students as soon as it is finalised. As all applications for Special Consideration need to be processed before the number of special exams can be confirmed, the special exams timetable is subject to change.

In order to publish the timetable as soon as possible, it may be necessary to email some students who have not received confirmation of their Special Consideration outcome. If the outcome of your Special Consideration is not a special examination, disregard the timetable. Any communication related to your Special Consideration application will be through eVision.

Some departments run their own special exams and they will contact you directly if this is the case. Departmentally run special exams do not appear in the special exams timetable. If you have been advised that you have a special exam outcome and cannot see it in the timetable, you should contact the department concerned.

Special exams for Summer School and Pre-Christmas Summer School (PXSS) are run by the departments concerned.
